This dataset is a sample of a dataset generate with FastStormMaker. FastStormMaker is a stochastic generator of European storms, fully developed in the LSCE (Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l’Environnement). It is a new and original approach to produce a catalog of storms. This first sample is derived from ERA-Interim reanalysis and provide more than 300 time steps extract from our database. The catalog contains the wind speed values, these speeds are of the order of magnitude of the ERA-Interim data four times daily with 0.75x0.75 degree grid. Keeping four times daily temporal resolution, a higher spatial resolution storm database (0.125x0.125 degree grid) is under construction.
