Geological Faults of the Autonomous Region of the Azores. Vector cartography produced at scale 1: 25,000 in the framework of the elaboration of the Azores Regional Water Plan (PRA), published through Regional Legislative Decree no. 19/2003 of 23 April. The geographical data of the PRA were obtained through the collection and processing of a significant set of georeferenced information, including cartographic elements and bases from the IGeoE and the Regional Plan of the Territorial Planning of the Azores (PROTA).
This information was produced in the framework of the preparation of the basic studies of the Azorean Regional Water Plan, which is a plan whose purpose is the planning and management of the region's water resources. The geographical data of the PRA have been cartography supporting the work developed by the Regional Secretariat for Energy, Environment and Tourism / Government of the Azores.
