Hawaii - Fire Risk Areas - Hawaii Statewide GIS Program

Based on the guidelines developed by the National Association of State Foresters in June 2003, the Division of Forestry and Wildlife identified at-risk wildland-urban interface communities in the major Hawaiian islands and rated each community's risk from wild-land fires.

Data were collected and completed during the years 2006 and 2007.
