Impact Forecasting has released an event footprint for the wind and coastal surge perils associated with Hurricane Nate. Nate made U.S. landfall as a Category 1 hurricane along the Mississippi coastline over the weekend of October 7th/8th. This scenario is modelled using observational data inputs as of 4AM on October 8th.

Impact Forecasting’s modeled footprint is provided in the form of a shape file and can be used in a geographical information systems to identify regions impacted by the event.
