Hurricane Michael - Wind & Storm Surge Footprint - 11th October 2018 - Aon Benfield Impact Forecasting

Impact Forecasting has released an event footprint and ELEMENTS scenario for the wind and coastal surge perils associated with Hurricane Michael. Michael made landfall in the state of Florida near Mexico Beach on October 10 as a Category 4 hurricane with 155 mph (250 kph) winds.

This makes Michael the fourth-strongest hurricane on record to make landfall on the continental United States. This scenario is modelled using observational data inputs as of 10 PM on October 10, focusing on Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and the Carolinas.
