Norway - Flood Hazard Maps - The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate

Flood Hazard map shows what area is being flooded in one flair situation, and with each repeat interval. Selected watercourses with significant damage potential are charted. Map gives municipalities a sound basis for area planning and preparedness. In addition to the map, NVE has prepared guidelines that mention the issue of corruption, pay attention to and incorporate into municipal area plans. For sure, different types of buildings to be built against flaum are stated in the building engineering regulations. Most buildings must be safe against one 200 years of flair. Maps are produced in digital form, so users can use the data in their own tools.
