Norway - Quick Clay Hazard Map - The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate

The NVE's mapped area shows a potentially vulnerable area. The zones are based on terrain criteria and classified with regard to degree, consistency and risk. Mapping of mercury zones has been concentrated on Søraust-Norway and Trøndelag, but is no longer extended to other parts of the country. For the mapped municipalities, a report has been prepared that includes a grade chart, consortium chart and risk chart.

It can also be found quicker outside of the mapped leakage zones. Area where the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (SVV) finds the foundation for early geotechnical investigations known as own "Kvikkleire areas" in the map. Its areas are not full-fledged areas but only a geography report from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's archives with proven / anteke kvikkleire. In some areas, the mercury point (borehole with proven / antecedent sharpness) is marked on the map.
