Norway - Rock Fall Susceptibility Map - The Norwegian water resources and energy directorate (NVE)

Stone slurry map shows potential slope and drainage areas for rock jumping. Map does not matter enough about the probability of a rock jump. Map is first and foremost a basis for further assessment of landslide hazards and for fixing zones of refuge in area plans at municipal level. The new country-maping map shows an area for which one must act as a guerrilla actor. Dei shows potential leakage and drainage areas for rock jumping, and does not predict enough about the probability of rock jumping. Map is prepared using a data model that emerges from the hillside on the mountain side recognizes the terrain where the leakage of a rock is possible. From the quartz discharge area, the outlet area is automatically extinguished. There is no fieldwork in the preparation of maps, and the effect of local factors such as forests, security measures, etc., are not evaluated differently.
