Hydrogeological structure of the entire regional territory at the 1: 100,000 scale.
The various geological formations are grouped into hydrogeological complexes for lithological, hydrodynamic and hydrogeological characteristics. The main natural emergencies are distinguished in punctual and linear and the sources captured for use as drinking water, distinguished in main, minor, mineral. The main wells and well fields for drinking water use are also reported.
Using GIS techniques to cartography it was possible to associate a simple database of sources and wells with the main characteristics resulting from various archives. In paper are also reported the piezometric of the main alluvial valleys and the Vulsino volcanic aquifer.
The project was entirely carried out by the Geological and Seismic Service of the Umbria Region, the data of the piezometer of alluvial aquifers were supplied by ARPA Umbria, the data of the public drinking water collection points were provided by AATO
