Storm Dennis - Flood Footprint 21 Feb 2020 - JBA Risk Management

From late Saturday 15 February, Storm Dennis has brought persistent and heavy rain to parts of England and Wales. Following a week after Storm Ciara, Dennis has exacerbated existing flooding with reports of between 1,400 and 2,000 properties affected.

JBA's Event Response team has produced a flood footprint for the affected areas.

Accompanying this footprint is a spatial layer indicating areas where flooding has been verified using field observations and media sources. This layer is correct as of 21 February 2020 and may be revised at a later date. Outside of these areas, the extent and depth of flooding has been estimated based on telemetered data and footprints generated by JBA’s Flood Foresight system.
