Vermont - Mean Winter Precipitation 1971 to 2000 - Vermont Open Geodata Portal

ClimatePrecip_PRECIPW7100 includes mean winter precipitation (October through March) data for Vermont (1971-2000). Its a raster dataset derived from annualized precipitation data developed by the PRISM Group (Oregon State University). The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Vermont acquired a copy of the data, clipped it to Vermont, reprojected it to VT State Plane Meters (NAD83), and changed the units to feet. NRCS then used ArcGIS 9.2 Spatial Analyst to sum the precipitation for the 6 winter months (October to March).
