Mind Your Language!

One of the primary aims of the Oasis HUB is to make the data tools and services we offer easy to understand.

We're working hard on a range of new ways to illustrate and interact with datasets, watch this space for more details!

In the meantime, following a successful trial earlier this year, and in the vein of making site content easier to understand, we're pleased to announce the launch of a translation service, initially covering Spanish and Portuguese languages. Other languages will follow in quick succession.

The language switcher appears at the bottom right of your browser window. Simply click on it to pop the menu up and choose the language you desire. 

It's using clever machine translation technology, it won't be perfect, and it will give you a better understanding of what the content is about. It would be much better than anything I could ever do :)

Spanish is the second most popular language, from the perspective of global coverage, so it made sense to make that our first choice. Portuguese was selected to support another exciting development that's been in the works for some time. We'll be launching a trial version early next week, something else to watch out for!
