Open Data - Regione Campania
Compliance with the principles of publicity and transparency of administrative action, the intention to ensure the widest dissemination of institutional information and to allow access and reuse of data are the cornerstones that guide the strategy of the Regional Council on the subject of Open Data. The valorization of the data of regional ownership and the sharing of the knowledge connected to them are the main objectives of the legislation on the 'open data' of the Campania Region, which starting from the regional law n. 14/2013is committed to making available for free, through information and communication technologies, the largest possible number of datasets including data produced, collected, reproduced and disseminated for the pursuit of its institutional duties. A further fundamental step in the implementation of this design was made with the approval of the Disciplinary on Open Data, which intended to provide the basic indications on how to organize the Campania Region for the enhancement of its information assets, including, in particular, the implementation of a web portal specifically dedicated to publishing open data, so as to ensure the online availability of their data (made freely usable, reusable and redistributable) and to ensure the right of access / reuse to all potential operators who intend to process the information contained in the datasets for different purposes (including commercial). For these purposes the Open Data portal of the Campania Region has been created http://dati.regione.campania.it, a platform entirely dedicated to the publication of open type regional data, realized in full compliance with the recent guidelines of AgID (Agency for Digital Italy) on the development of sites and portals for the PA.
