Belize - Fire Risk Map - The Biodiversity and Environmental Resource Data System of Belize

Basis for the map is the 2004 updated version of the Belize Ecosystems Map (Meerman, 2004). This in its turn was based on January and February 2004 Landsat TM satellite images.

The process took 9 different variables into account. Social, Physical and Ecological. Each of these variables is represented in its own attribute Note that this layer does not incorporate damages caused during the 2010 and 2016 hurricanes.
