Flood Risk Map of the Bolivian Chaco Macroregion - GeoBolivia

The map shows the degree of threat of flooding in the Chaco region, meaning flooding by water invasion in normally dry areas, due to abundant rainfall, changes in river courses or others. Working on the geomorphological map, the units with the highest flood frequency were identified, as well as their coincidence with hydrography and basin type, determining 5 categories: very high, high, medium, low and very low.
