Peru - Geophysical vulnerability map of Peru - Geoserver of Peru

The physical susceptibility map of areas prone to floods and landslides on the coast and mountains in the face of the occurrence of extreme hydrometeorological events had as main basis the analysis of the physical susceptibility of the territory to processes of natural and anthropic degradation (deforestation) that was used for construction of the physical vulnerability map of Peru.

Prepared by the Ministry of the Environment in coordination and collaboration of the bodies attached to MINAM: Geophysical Institute of Peru - IGP, National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology of Peru - Senamhi, Service National Park of Protected Natural Areas - Sernanp, Amazonia Research Institute Peruana - IIAP and external institutions such as the National Geographic Institute - IGN, Mining and Metallurgical Geological Institute - Ingemmet and the National Defense Institute Civil - Indeci. Ministerial Resolution No. 279-2011-MINAM approves the Map of Physical vulnerability of Peru at scale 1: 250,000, first version, 2011.
