Hurricane Lorena - Event Track & Forecast - GDACS

Hurricane Lorena was a category 1 hurricane, impacting southwest Mexico. On 19/09/2019, the centre was reported 55km south-west from Manzanillo City with maximum sustained winds of 120 kmh (74mph). Lorena is expected to strengthen as it moves north-west towards Baja California Peninsula on 22/09/2019. Intense rainfall and strong winds are forecast over the coasts of Jaliscom Colima, Michoacan & Guerrero states.

This data package contains a 5 day event track, track and forecast information, wind speed readings in ESRI Shapefile and GeoJSON formats. Also, there is windspeed probability maps sourced from NOAA. Data covers full storm cycle from 17/09/2019 - 23/09/2019.
