Bolivia - Municipality of Tiwanaku Drought Hazard Map , 2012 - GeoBolivia

The map shows the degree of threat by drought of the Municipality of Tiwanaku, identified as a long period without rain that damages the crop and significantly reduces the economic returns of the region. The drought begins when the available water of the soil in the root zone is exhausted, putting the production of the municipality at risk, for this purpose rainfall and mean temperature data are contrasted, identifying two categories of threat: Low and Very low.
