Tropical Storm Imelda - Event Track & Forecast - GDACS

Tropical depression Imelda, formed in the Gulf of Mexico on 17/09/2019, moved north across eastern Texas, USA. On 18/09/2019, the centre was over Houston, TX with maximum wind speeds of 56 kmh (34 mph). As the storm dissipates moving north, heavy rain is expected, with flash flood warnings over Houston.

This data package contains an enhanced infrared satellite image of the depression, sourced by the Naval Research Lab, precipitation and wind speed probability maps by NOAA & event track shapefiles sourced from GDACS.
